Defensive Specialist

Tim grew up in Somers, New York and was a multi-sport athlete. He was fortunate to have his Father coach him in Soccer, Baseball, and Basketball at a young age. This lit the fire of a competitive spirit and the love of athletics within him. In High School, Tim excelled as a three-sport Varsity athlete, competing in Football, Wrestling, and Lacrosse.

Tim’s love of Lacrosse took him to Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT where he began his college career as a walk-on defensive midfielder. Freshman year, he picked up a long pole at the direction of his coach and found his place on the field. By his sophomore year, Tim was a scholarship defensive starter. During a team trip to Colorado he made his first career collegiate start versus The University of Denver. He earned Defensive NEC All-Conference honors his senior year.

After college Tim heard the call of the Rocky Mountains and moved to Denver in 2012. First working in the non-profit sector as a Special Education teacher, then managing a youth sports company, HERO Kids Sports. Tim now teaches elementary school at Wyatt Academy, a school in the heart of Denver, and has been coaching Jets Lacrosse teams since 2017. He transitioned to President of Jets Lacrosse Club in 2022. All the while, he has been providing expert individual and small group Lacrosse coaching lessons and clinics.

When not coaching, you can find Tim on the ski slopes, camping with his pup, Mazie, or supporting his local breweries and music venues.
