Fall Learn-to-Play Mini Camp

• What is the Jets Lacrosse Learn to Play Mini-Camp?

  • The Jets Lacrosse Club is dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse in the NE Denver / Park Hill / Central park community.

  • Our Learn to Play Mini-Camp is specifically designed towards players who are brand new to lacrosse.

  • The Mini-Camp is the BEST way to get started playing lacrosse. 

  • Participants learn the fundamental skills, while playing fun games that build on these skills. 

  • Come find out just how much FUN lacrosse really is!

• What are the dates and location for the Fall Learn to Play Mini-Camp?

  • The Mini-Camp will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:00 at Inspire Elementary School (5650 N Elmira Ct, Denver, CO 80238)

  • Practices will run for 3 weeks, September 3rd-September 24th (no practice on 9/12). 6 total practices.

  • A gear/equipment swap and donation event will take place before the first practice, details TBD.

• What ages are eligible for the Learn to Play Mini-Camp?

  • Players grade K-8th are welcome to attend the Mini-Camp! Participants will be grouped by their age/size during practices.

• How long is registration open for the Fall Learn to Play Mini-Camp?

  • Registration opens Tuesday, July 15th, and closes on Monday, September 23rd.

  • We often keep registration open after the initial close date, however, we cannot prorate for missed practices. 

  • You are only considered registered if you have completed the registration process, your player’s USA Lacrosse membership is up to date (through at least October 31st, 2024) and the registration fee is paid in full.

• What is the registration fee for the Learn to Play Mini-Camp?

  • Registration fee is $130 per participant, the SAME as last year!

  • Registration fee includes loaner equipment (if needed) a yard sign (if desired), and a Jets Lacrosse sticker!

  • Registration fee covers the costs associated with team and program equipment purchases (including balls, cones, practice equipment, field permits, coaching and coaching education expenditures, and other Administration costs.)

• What do I need for the LPT Mini-Camp?

  • ALL participants must have active USA Lacrosse memberships, valid through the end of October (cost is about $30/year). For more info and to get a membership, please visit https://www.usalacrosse.com/membership

  • Equipment: Helmet, stick, and gloves are a minimum requirement for Learn to Play participants. Full equipment is preferred. Please visit our EQUIPMENT page for more information.

  • Loaner equipment is available while supplies last! 

• What email address will I receive communication at?

  • All communication throughout the Jets registration process and fall season will be sent to the email address you provide at the time of registration. Please use your primary email address for registration and verify the accuracy before you submit your registration.

• What is the refund policy?

  • A refund request must be sent to [email protected]

  • A $25 administrative fee for any program is nonrefundable. In addition, if a uniform order has been placed for your player prior to refund being requested, the cost of uniform is nonrefundable.

  • No refunds are awarded after the season has started

• Do you offer scholarships?

• We do provide scholarships to qualifying families to defray the cost of participation please contact [email protected] to make a confidential scholarship request.
